Hello, my name is Anna Shimizu. I was originally born in Berkeley, California. I am Japanese American and I am currently a sophomore attending Hamden High School. I am an intermediate Japanese speaker and familiar with American Sign Language. My current favorite subject is geometry because it coordinates to my dream career, architecture. Architecture had always been an interest of mine ever since I was in middle school because architects have a strong passion for the public and construct secure buildings for them, all while blending in  functionality and aesthetics. I listen to all different types of music, but I say my favorite music genres are old rock, pop, and R&B because I feel the most connected with nostalgic music.
