Ms. Harlequin Angry, Plans On Leaving Hamden High

By: Brandon Ruggiero

Yes, you read the title right, you’re not mistaken. Ms. Harlequin is very upset and is planning on leaving Hamden High. First, I want to make sure you all know who Ms. Harlequin is. She is a well-loved teacher here and runs the Juggling Club, which is responsible for putting together the juggling competitions that occur at our school.

Of course the main question is, what made her angry? And why is she planning on leaving? One day when I went to my introduction to acrobatics class I could tell something was wrong. Her bells on her conical hat were no longer happily ringing and red nose was no longer lighting up. That is why when she announced later that week that she was leaving, I was not surprised.

At this point I felt really bad for her, because I’ve had her as a teacher and know how dedicated she is to her job and career. The question now is what school will she go to? Is she still going to teach juggling? When I asked this, she didn’t have an answer, she was unsure. She was also unsure if she was going to retire. No matter where Ms. Harlequin ends up this upcoming school year, I hope she knows she is valued to many, and made so many people happy. Wherever she goes, I know she’ll do a wonderful job. We are very sorry to see her go because our students will not be able to learn how to tumble, juggle and do somersaults .

Happy April Fools Day!!!
