Yes, you heard the breaking news. The PBIS Program that started this school year is being canceled. I’m sure everyone knows what the PBIS program is; you know the green tickets? They are the enjoyable activities that are set up for students with the tickets. Well with much consideration and thought, the school has decided to take the program away. 

I’m sure you’re wondering why the school decided to revoke this? Well, I can’t tell you the exact reason, but I can tell you what I heard from overhearing a conversation that led to the termination of this program.

Administration and teachers voiced their concern for the program. School staff did not agree with this decision and how it was handled. Some thought it wasn’t fair that some students were getting tickets, while others were not. Some were getting tickets for not following school expectations, while others who did, didn’t receive anything. This made staff very upset, and with many complaints and dissatisfaction, the school decided to shut the program down. This will be in effect this upcoming school year.
