Hello! My name is Hannah Barrett, and I’m currently a sophomore at Hamden High School. Life at HHS is always super fun—whether it’s performing routines with the color guard in the Hamden Dragons Marching Band, capturing moments as part of the photography club, or helping deliver the HHS morning announcements, each of these experiences has given me the chance to connect with the school community.
I have two favorite classes. Photography and geometry. Exploring creativity is a big part of who I am, which is why photography class holds a special place in my heart. On the flipside, I have fun with geometry solving problems and unraveling patterns, it gives me a satisfying sense of logic and accomplishment. When it comes to personal favorites, Ariana Grande tops my playlist, and nothing beats a treat from Dunkin Donuts or a bowl of Alfredo pasta. Joining the Dial Newspaper family truly excites me, and I’m looking forward to it. I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together!
