Hamden announces a new class: AP Passing Time.

By: Donovan Kirkpatrick

A new “class”, AP Passing Time, is set to debut next year. “AP Passing Time will allow students to take an extra class with the chance to better their GPA,” said a student who asked to remain anonymous. The premise is simple: every 4 minutes of passing time between classes, students are to race between their periods as fast as they can. This will be calculated as a score, taking into account total distance, stairs, and other contributing factors. Students are encouraged to use any tactics they need to, including pushing, pulling, tripping, and especially clotheslining. “I am so excited to be a part of this exciting new opportunity next year,” exclaimed sophomore Donovan Kirkpatrick. “I’m sure Yale would love to see an AP passing time credit on my application letter!” Administrators declined to comment on liability concerns.
