I am Samir, a sophomore at Hamden High School. I am very excited to be the editor-in-chief of The Dial this year. I really enjoy writing, and I got third place at the Hamden Thornton Wilder Short Story competition last year! I usually write articles about food, health and wellness, as well as school policy. I would also like to branch out into sports writing this year. My favorite movie is Legally Blonde, and my favorite show is White Collar. My favorite musical artists are Avril Lavigne, Paramore, System of a Down, and Britney Spears. And my favorite color is pink.
