While Connecticut has staunch baseball fans who always rank the Red Sox over the Yankees, as the season comes to its close, we all have to congratulate the Yankees for their strong showing against the seemingly undefeatable Indians.

The New York Yankees baseball team made the American MLB League Divisional Round and was facing a 2-0 series deficit in the quest for the best of 5 games. However, the Yankees showed resilience and bounced back with a 1-0 win and a 7-3 blowout win in New York. They went on to defeat the Indians in a winner take all game 5.

The Yankees remind all of Connecticut to remember that, no matter the circumstances, giving up is not the solution. Now we wait with baited breath to see if our Yankees can get into the World Series.
