Only fifteen minutes into the soccer game against Sheehan High on Thursday, October 5th, Hamden’s boys were already up by three points. Throughout the first half, goalkeeper Marcus Carrington protected Hamden’s goal.
The second half is when the goalkeepers are changed. During the second half, Hamden’s boys took possession of the ball and spread out to attack, so striker Dayne Rayford was able to score a fourth goal. It was the only goal I saw, but everyone in the crowd went crazy and got super excited. With two minutes left, Sheehan seized the moment and scored the final goal of the game. At 4-1, this was another win for Hamden.
