Tom Brady Retiring??

BREAKING NEWS IN THE WORLD OF SPORTS

The quarterback of the New England Patriots, Tom Brady, shocks his coaches, teammates, and fans! For those who live under a rock, Brady has changed his mind about continuing in the NFL. After 15 exceptional seasons, this beast of a player has finally decided to retire. What’s the cause of this astounding decision, you ask? With two boys and one girl Brady wants to do the best for his family. Spending time with his kids is difficult, when he’s always on the field or at the facility practicing for game day. He has also made his health and safety a high priority. After the 2014-2015 season, Tom was sacked, or tackled behind the line of scrimmage, a total of 364 times. This made him the second most sacked in the entire NFL, following Ben Roethlisberger.

While the rest of Tom’s team refused to speak on the matter, his wife, Gisele, talked to the press last Thursday. Here’s a sneak peek of the interview:

Reporter: “Has Tom Brady come to this decision on his own? Or did your input influence him to retire?”

Gisele: “Tom mentioned it one day, out of the blue. At first it came as a shock. I honestly thought he was joking. Though it will certainly result in change for our family, I support him either way.”

Reporter: “Are there any reasons for Brady’s decision other than the ones he stated? Perhaps ones relating to other coaches, players, or deflated balls?

Gisele: “No. Just his health and our family” *She was quick to answer this question*

Reporter: “And do you know what your husband will do now, with all of his spare time?

Gisele: “Besides taking care of our kids Tommy has a weird fondness for hairdressing…”

You can find the whole interview on ESPN. But as of now it’s official…The New England Patriots have lost their star quarterback. Tom Brady is a retired man, which is just what the Jets have been waiting to hear.
